Game Prizes
Feb. 20th, 2016 02:06 amSO a couple things about game prizes! If you haven't noticed, there are randomizers for our usual games here. Once normal games are in rotation, you'll use those for prizes! For special event games, you can either use prize amounts that match those, or use our generic randomizers. These don't have the HTML/reward text output, so they're a little more labor-intensive on your part, but there they are.
As a note: if you're ever doing a game with a random currency reward, IOUs are not to be given out as a currency reward. They're under the currency file, which is why they pop up sometimes, but if you get one in a prize output either refresh or grab a random one from the generic randomizer.
Also, since special cards are worth more than regular cards, give them out at the same rate for everyone. At the beginning, I was playing with a system of randomly generating special output so we could have more out there, but it was just a lot more dice rolling and effort than it was worth. There's a fair number of games that do have special cards included in their reward output, and donations include them, so hopefully we'll still have a decent amount circulating around!
